Following swearing in, District 7 Seattle City Councilmember Andrew Lewis announced the UpGarden P-Patch will be spared eviction to make room for 100 parking spaces.

News release from mayor's office says agreement with ArenaCo. LLC states Mercer Garage will be maintained as a parking facility until light rail at Seattle Center is designed and planned. P-Patch can stay as long as garage does.
