Open-minded skepticism is the core of UFO study J. Allen Hynek, Jacques Vallee, Stanton Friedman and many others have believed the phenomenon is real but set out to separate the wheat from the chaff with scientific methodology. So don't jump on those doing that. It's needed.

Along these mythic lines, I grew up Mormon. Mormons believe the spirit world (where all souls go when they die) is RIGHT HERE... Earth. Mortals just can't see that dimension. On Judgement Day, they teach "the veil will fall" and all will see.
I believe the spirit world is indeed right here...and is other dimension of reality, just as real & dynamic as what we perceive within this mortality

I am not Mormon. Yet I grew up in Elmira NY. Pretty close to the formation story of Palmyra. Never did any digs or put any stones under my hat.

I do too. It's not inconceivable to have that ideology with our normal day-to-day practical involvement. In fact, it makes life even more enjoyable. IMO.

Through spirituality and weird events after studying Jung’s work is how UAP hit my radar screen. Once I heard Grant Cameron discusses consciousness angle the pieces came together. I suddenly understood lights in sky..... are all linked.

I was super agnostic about all this stuff but a kundalini experience and lots of meditation using Jung’s process resulted in “contact.” It was good and bad. It wasn’t happy I could see behind the curtains. It actually physically attacked my ex wife and daughter. Be careful.

The next step is to evolve from believing to knowing by experiencing a person you know who has passed & they return in solid form, not as a spirit, for a brief moment. This would prove existence of a dimensional spirit world within ours.
