The Deseret News article wasn’t generally known and wasn’t a thing, whereas the book was sold worldwide. A police report is a document drafted when a crime is reported to the police. So what crime was reported? Again, there is no evidence independent from your claims.
So because something wasn’t “generally known”, you dismiss it? Until you actually do your due diligence, it is pointless to engage with you because of your obvious bias. We have obtained numerous police reports of strange activity pre-dating the 1990s regarding the ranch.

You misconstrue my words. I say that before the book there was no tradition of weird occurrences at the ranch going back decades. You claim to have ‘numerous police reports’ but these are documents used to describe a crime, so what crime is being reported?
