It wasn't. You get the same variations near a phone. There were several phones there, AND radio microphone transmitters.

I think you are stretching to try and dismiss the cell phone anomalies recorded @MickWest and that’s ok :) we can agree to disagree ;)

I would note that after re-watching that segment that the faults were not actually the same. One was the "ghost touch", the other was a stuck mute button. I would not hazard a guess there without details of the subsequent investigation. But what about that fly?
