Well, given that they were perfectly visible, I think that the simples explanation is that your ADS-B receiver wasn't handling that particular situation. There's no stealth if you can see it and read the number. Surely someone took a photo with a zoom lens?

I would note that after re-watching that segment that the faults were not actually the same. One was the "ghost touch", the other was a stuck mute button. I would not hazard a guess there without details of the subsequent investigation. But what about that fly?
I believe the team of scientists (and film people) that have reviewed all of the related footage disagree with your assessment.

That's a large ass fly to be seen from the ground and up into the sky unless it's a swarm..flies aren't that big and to be seen from the ground? And how cud u see a fast flying big bug up into the sky
