They were not hiding at all. You could see them. I'm sure the guys with binoculars would have been able to read the number on the side. N545SA. You can legally have ADS-B without that info if you want. But you can't fly without it painted on the side.pic.twitter.com/0t2mHW6MN7
Hmmm...you pick up their flight path showing their transponder was on, and then they just happen to turn it off when flying over the ranch?

We have our own avionics receiver on the ranch, not just the subscription service, @ the helicopter was NOT transmitting any data when it was flying over the ranch.

I only checked FlightRadar24, as I have a free business about there, as I run an ADS-B station for them. It's possible other aggregators have more data on the flight path.
