The ufo is ( drum roll please) VENUS!
Uses an astronomy app on my phone to see where venus was on that date. VENUS is bright enough to be seen during daytime. It's was about 15 degrees away frome the sun. They all had there hands blocking the sun. Too funny...

I would think that would have been considered and rules out. Perhaps we can ask
@BrandonFugal to chime in on the Venus possibility.
I haven’t had a chance to discuss the Venus possibility with the scientists, but think that they would have already considered that & ruled that out.

That was my thinking as well, considering there is an astrophysicist on the team. It was unlikely to be something as prosaic as a planet.

I seriously doubt that Dr. Travis Taylor would have screwed that up. He is a very smart, accomplished scientist.
