Well, perhaps doctored in a way that his privacy is protected. Or maybe it could only be shared with medical doctors instead of the public at large

I think what would be interesting is to do a search of the literature to find any similar cases and then see if there’s some sort of common cause they can measure at the ranch.

Which would suggest that perhaps the condition is fairly novel or at least really rare as they presented it on the show. I mean they are sharing anecdotal evidence which may not cut in a scientific journal but they’re also conducting experiments and attempting to gather hard data

Nothing presented in the show will convince hardcore skeptics. The only silver lining may be in attracting the attention of other scientists and welcoming their perusal of whatever data they might have gathered. I admit it. I find the show interesting

Yeah I don’t think the point is to convince the hardened skeptics.

The point is to make dollars for the tv channel.

For History yes I’m sure that’s the point. If it wasn’t they wouldn’t be in business. If you watched the show you would realize that it is in now way as “history channeled” as their other productions. I suspect this is because

I'll reserve final judgement until I finish the series. I'm not a huge fan of the format --mixing scenes shot on location with scenes of each member of the team explaining what's happening feels 'overproduced' to me. But, like I said, the show has piqued my curiosity.

Watch like 5 minutes of any of their other shows and it’ll put it into better context. I admittedly don’t mind the production on the other shows. The only thing that bugs me is when the narrator explains what just happened which doesn’t happen on this show that much.

Good observations! We don’t have a narrator by design ;) the narrative is all driven by the team

A wise choice. That narrator gets enough air time on history’s other shows. Although I will say his ability to turn nearly every scenario into a hypothetical question with tone alone is quite impressive.
