Some UFO groups claim to do scientific study (MUFON, TTSA, NIDS, BAASS, SWR crew etc). When aptly pointed out the groups don’t abide by the scientific method, fans repeatedly rationalize ‘the phenom’ defies science. But they don’t hold the groups responsible for the false claims.

scientific method a method of research in which a problem is identified, relevant data are gathered, a hypothesis is formulated from these data, & the hypothesis is empirically tested. This is what my team has been engaged in for the past several years. No false claims.

With whatever respect is due, sir, the ranch situation is an embarrassment, much less to suggest the shenanigans are scientific study.

And the TV show is your proof for this? If so that’s weak. You’re conflating tiny snippets of what goes on at the ranch with a full picture. For someone that claims to love facts this isn’t it.

Well, what other ‘proof’ is there then? We can only go by what is presented about SR by these folks - and it isn’t a lot.

This is why it’s not grounds to call it an embarrassment. It’s common sense that a TV show is not presenting everything going on there nor the full spectrum of analyzation. Going on limited information to make a sweeping statement is not fact based. It’s just not.
