Yes, and Trump had nothing to do with it! It's been developing for decades, for a variety of reasons.
While everyone loves to blame Trump, there is a sad reality being ignored that Americans are the most unhealthy population in the developed world and all pre-existing conditions like diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, etc. are what lead to the vast majority of Covid deaths.

So very true! I have never been a fast food person and so many are and that leads to multiple bad health outcomes. I walk every day, take Vitamin D3 and eat pretty healthily so I'm not at risk.
