I believe we are compassionate with the poor especially through our churches and temples. The government consumes 90 cents of every dollar budgeted for programs for the poor leaving very little to actually house, clothe and feed the poor. It's a very inefficient system.
We need a Program of National Reconciliation. May I humbly suggest leaders of the Left need to learn to respect God’s laws in the Bible. Leaders of the Right also need to do their soul-searching and learn to be more compassionate to the poor. It's not too late for America.
