My daughter is getting her certification for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), and her ability to make extra money teaching online while she finishes her college degree is at risk because of this law.
AB5 makes it illegal for certain self-employed and independent contractors to work in the state of California. This is a clear rights violation and must be repealed.
