This weekend activists protested outside Mayor Garcetti's home to force him to cancel rent for all LA citizens. It's funny that they dont realize that property owners are citizens and have rights too but a #CancelRent movement would cost the city $1B at least so I don't think so!
Obviously no one should be evicted due to conditions brought about by Democrat governors here and across the country. But people who collect rent to feed their families are still people and constituents. There needs to be a compromise.

Trickle down economics...the vast majority of homeowners have mortgages. The big banks can forgive some mortgage debt, or at least forbear 6 months of payments, that way both homeowners and renters alike do not bear the brunt of this disaster. The big banks can afford the loss.
