Seattle, Portland, San Fran, LA, NYC, and Boston all have low crime rates. Even Chicago, if you take out a mile of it (10% of the city) its very safe. Typical agoraphobic suburbanite, why don’t you see how red cities such as Houston, Phoenix, and Orlando are handling corona?

Crime is going up in NYC under De Blasio. I live in one of the safest neighborhoods in Manhattan and there's been a few incidents even here recently, including a shooting. It was much safer and cleaner when Mike Bloomberg was mayor.
