San Quentin is a level 1/2 facility. Most inmates are level 1 there. As a resident of Marin, I do not want our healthcare system impacted anymore. Maybe if there was good care to begin with we would not have this problem. Compassion goes a long way.
.@GavinNewsom has admitted that transfers from Chino to San Quentin is responsible for over 2,445 inmates in Calif. corrections system testing positive for the coronavirus. Let’s all pray that he doesn’t use this as an excuse to release them onto our streets!

Most of the inmates at San Quentin are level 1 risk (scale 1-5). Most have done far less than a white collar criminal. Only 750 are death row. Further, not controlling the outbreak impacts the entire bay area.
