Going to show this to my class as a way of conceptualizing "ground up" evolution of flight. Imagine a cursorial predator using wings to navigate the environment and chase down prey in the same way. Super cool.

If you've seen the "Allosaurus had never seen such bullshit before" meme going around, I want you to know 1. I'm the one behind it. 2. There's a video version I made dubbed by an acquaintance's Kenneth Branagh impression complete with the Benjamin Barlett OST

I don’t particularly concern myself with monetary gain. I think associating all that support the “pro side” of the Nanotyrannus debate with being greedy is a tad bit too far

This is purely ad-hominem and does not justify writing off other’s potential evidence as nonsense. This is not how science works!

If you can’t have meaningful scientific discussions with friends, who can you discuss scientific issues with? Just because you are my friend, that doesn’t mean I have to agree with you on everything. 🤓

A Sonora ocelot population just south of the border is a good sign for binational wildlife conservation — and a reminder of the planned border wall’s potential to block wildlife migration, say researchers who worked on a new study of the ocelots.

W-what do you mean? Of course we’re supposed to rip apart friendships and “thrust the knife” if someone doesn’t like how you look at a pile of bones! It’s totally not like scientific consensus “changes” because of disagreement..

Clearly, he thinks I’m an enemy now. Is this what science is, now? People making enemies over piles of bones?

Proof you don't need a to make a compelling series! The 1st installment of 's Morrison Fm. documentary is really awesome! He partners with topnotch scholars like Matt Wedel, , John Foster, et al. Can't wait for more episodes!

Plot of the movie Python (2000): scientist creates giant monster snake by combining DNA from various snake species. Shady organisation plans to use GMO snakes for military application. If you replace "snake" with "dinosaur" what movie do you get? I'm on to you Trevarrow.

was one of my very first follows on this platform because I value his research and views in regards to paleontology. I’m rather upset that I will no longer have the opportunity to interact with him and engage in Dr. Carr’s often philosophical conversations.

Apologies to if I upset you. I had no intent to do so. To be clear, I’m not calling your work bad science. Instead, I’m eagerly awaiting results of your future research. I’m somewhat taken aback I was blocked and hope sincerely you change your mind.

For context of my last tweet, a huge milestone in the conservation of one of North America’s most precious natural wonders. This is exactly what the next generation needs to see on social media.

This is why we HAVE to do what we do, as any variation of science communicators. This man is trying to use the Bible to justify the killing of endangered species. We have to make sure this type of ideology is completely eradicated from the next generation.
