Folks, Poland's first lady did not diss Trump's handshake attempt. She was looking at Melania, shook her hand, then shook Trump's. Stop.pic.twitter.com/ta8DNsv0Th

Still seems a breach of protocol [see Polish customs] to extend his hand first. If he had a functioning State Dept, he mighta known that.pic.twitter.com/SclViUSv8G

He has no idea how to act toward other nations politically. Doesn't realize rudeness is different from country to country. Unacceptable!

Not really. Most Americans don't like 45 or the job he's doing. Hence the outcry, diminishing base, and ridiculously low approval ratings.

It was a breach of diplomatic protocol. It surprised Trump and his wife who have been well briefed by experienced protocol staff at the WH.

Diplomatic protocol: she should have greeted Trump first, then his wife. That's why they both looked surprised. Small gaffe. Sweet woman.

That HE didn't understand that is really the issue. Failure of his people to notify him of this protocol. THAT is the problem.
