The rest is, more or less, a reiteration of China's IMF and existing G-20 commitments ... Very thin deal here, though China did say it would avoid persistent one sided intervention (which it hasn't been doing recently) 2/2
p.s. No wonder this was basically agreed last spring. There isn't much here. Shouldn't have taken long to negotiate.
What I have never seen in an analysis of TPP versus deals under this administration. I understand from some sound bites that we are getting 80% of TPP. Do you know if TPP improved currency provisions?
I wasn't a fan of the TPP currency agreement (I thought the disclosure standard of 6ms with a 6m lag on intervention was soft, and it should have covered more state actors). But it was tougher than this
