While it is absolutely true that the repentant sinner would be welcomed like the lost sheep, prodigal son, etc., Matthew 7:21, 24:42-44 & 25:1-13 = not everyone is welcome. & the word of God, as set forth in Matthew 3:12, says otherwise relative to those in a state of mortal sin.
