Clearly we're only meant to be eating whey protein shakes and washing down our multivitamin & fish oil capsules with wheat grass & spirulina smoothies. Just like our Paleo ancestors.

I think berries are also particularly low in glucose and fructose (c.f. other fruits) and have other sugars present such as galactose that have a lesser effect on insulin levels & have high conc of other amazing nutrients like

Even if you turn fresh fruit into a smoothie the SACN count it as added sugar, because you've broken down the cellular structure of the fruit and made the sugar more accessible.
