    Athletic trainers are licensed or otherwise regulated to work with active people to prevent, diagnose and treat injuries and medical conditions including cardiac abnormalities and heat stroke. Don't confuse with personal trainers, who focus primarily on fitness.

    Might consider reframing... these are minors and not legally responsible for their healthcare. Parent and physician education in our communities can really help to enable high school SA patients work for themselves if WE, as the healthcare teams, are on the same page.
