Guinie hens and possums are natural tick predators. Give them a space and they'll reward you!

Yes, I know. I lived on Nantucket for about 50 years. Guinea hens were the first line of defense. There would have had to hv bn thousands of them everywhere, however, to defeat the tick problem. My father was very ill with Lyme Disease&friend was ill with all 3 tick diseases.

I love Guinea hens. There was a large flock near my parents' house on Nantucket and they would follow me on walks making that funny Guinea hen noise.
