How about pay the fuck attention to your surroundings. Not run red lights and signal when your turning.

Cyclist here. I signal when I can, but taking a hand off the handlebars makes me unsteady, so I signal when I can safely do so, not all the time. Likewise, I will prefer rolling slowly through a red light when it is safe. Starting from a stop is the most dangerous part of riding
-
and I don't want to do that with cars flooring it right beside me. Many drivers will try to pass around a slow cyclist starting in and intersection, which greatly increases the chance that I'm getting flattened.

How about improved pedestrian safety. Bicyclists are a menace
-
Yeah, I agree. All those people who have been killed or injured by cyclists really adds up. But seriously, yeah, we also need better pedestrian infrastructure.
-
I’ve been injured. What’s so funny about cyclists who can ride on the sidewalk or in the street, ignoring lights and pedestrian crosswalks?
-
Again, this rally was about giving bikes somewhere that isn't road and isn't sidewalk to ride.
-
Yet you found it humorous that cyclists are irresponsible with no regard for anyone
-
No, I find it humorous (of sorts?) that people get worked up about the occasional misbehaved cyclist, but you don't see nearly as many comments on stories about pedestrians killed by cars. Car injuries are accepted as just part of the city, bikes are seen as some imagined threat.
-
Really? Guess you agree cyclists should have no rules or regulations. Hope your family doesn’t get run into by an imaginary cyclist

If people spent this energy on what’s important, so much can get done
