This is going to be more commonplace unless someone can figure out how to replace more that a million miles of decaying gas lines that are more than 50 years old. The infrastructure cost will be in the hundred of billions...affecting nearly every state.

This reminds me somewhat of when PG&E lines exploded blowing up much of S.San Francisco. We nearby were all worried the fires would go up the lines and blow up more areas. It was a terrible tragedy with much death. It was later found that PG&E was criminally guilty

Your mashup of the radio calls does a disservice to those first responders. It makes them appear panicked and out of control when they were, in truth, capably addressing an unprecedented, unforeseen, and tremendously complicated emergency.

The situation clearly was not under control, but I'd be shocked if anyone was under the impression that was the first responder's fault.
