Anyone else getting tired of the Catholic Church being sorry only when a story has been broken by the media?!?

Respect him immensely, but very disappointed he would not have more efficient controls in place, especially with the past history of these issues. Really disconcerting & requires a deeper dive into his offices policies & procedures. Ultimately this is on him!!

What is so hard about an adult when learning of an instances(s) of child abuse immediately picking up the phone and calling the police as opposed to ignoring it, writing a letter to a co-worker about it or wrtiting a response in return claiming not to be my problem? HELLO!!!

@CardinalSean, I’ve always looked upon you as part of the solution, not part of the problem. I hope that was an isolated lapse.

If Priests commit to being celibate to honor and be like Jesus why do Catholics constantly forgive them for raping and molesting children? One is celibate or one is not. They can't have it both ways and pretend to be like Jesus.
