Who would want to get on one of those for the sake of it? Absolute waste of time and money @MBTA @LMRAMIREZGM

Hi Dan and thanks for reaching out. The mockup is not just for public viewing and comment. Our engineers will inspect the car and use it for component testing to provide feedback for the manufacturer.

Hi Anil. Yes, we will be taking public comments on these cars like we did for the Orange Line cars.

Its not really a 'replica', its a 'mock-up'. Essentially a life-size model of 1/2 of what the new cars will look like. -JP

I was gonna say I don't remember RL cars being that short.

The mock-ups are usually just to show the interior and various features. The 'real mccoy' cars will be 60 or 70 feet long. The same was done with the mock up for the new Orange Line cars. it was only a 1/2 car, whie the real cars will be 60 - 70 feet. -JP
