He is very bright and according to local news his Father told him, “You know we could stone you?” Creepy parents.

This is one of the reasons I am on here and out there fighting! This kid is so genuine, gifted, and is working his ass off. Keep your eye on this one he will pay forward someday. His parents told they’re fake religion over their own son.

Thus all the paying students will pay his tuition. You should bill them all directly for it and let's see how they'd feel.

I think if you polled all those students at Georgetown, they would applaud this move. They have a good mind if they are at Georgetown!

Then they should give him the money directly. Why does the school decide that the other students will pay his way. I swear sure there's many students who had tough lives wondering, why not me. I don't get favored sympathy.

Do you know how many millions and millions of dollars they get donated annually - it’s coming from endowments not from the other students!

That's just part of it. You can't say where that money comes from. Tuition is set based on costs, right? By your logic the school operates without costs because of donations. Rarely would they cover all costs. Why do they charge tuition to anyone then?

Yes— but they give out tons of scholarship$$$- this is just one of many kids getting scholarships.

It wasn't a scholarship where the guy was up against anyone else. It was a total freebie. Somehow I doubt if he were kicked out of his house because he was a Conservative I tend to think Georgetown wouldn't of done this. Maybe they'd even use that info to reject his application.

It’s from a scholarship pool - also you can’t be gay and be a conservative or a Republican for that matter- those two don’t mesh in this new republican era. Hopefully that changes in the next election. I won’t vote red again until the party moves from the extreme.
