She must have a $10,000 family plan deductible like the rest of us due to the so called Affordable Care Act! What a sham!

No doubt the average person is totally stressed out more by the cost of an illness or accident and how it might affect their ability to meet their commitments I know the feeling and it's been this way for a long time
-
And that’s why nothing gets changed in America. Most politicians don’t have to worry about the price of a visit to the ER and never had to worry about because most have money. I guess that’s what happens when a billionaire is now the champion of the working class

It’s funny that over 150+ nations in the world have some form of free healthcare or universal healthcare system in place. But America is the greatest country in the world.

1. Boston EMS cost less than any I've ever seen. $10's of 1000's every time gma needed one; w/medicare. 2. They were expensive b4 ACA. 3. ACA didnt raise prices, were raising anyway, & w/o coverage plans. 4. If GOP hadnt fucked it up, we'd all be enrolled & paying like 100 bucks.

Uninformed people will blame Trump for this. The Obamacare mandate is still in effect through 2019. The only thing Trumps’ bill did was eliminate the fine for not having “qualifying health coverage”.
-
-
How could you possibly get that from what I actually said? I was saying many people think, incorrectly, that the ACA is gone and that’s why she was worried about the cost of an ambulance. Reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit, is it?
-
Lmao at thinking the price for an ER visit has ANYTHING to do with the ACA or Obama. The ACA is what Congress could pass, if he had his way it would’ve all been free. If this accident happens in Canada, the lady has no worries.
-
Of course it did. One of the points for an insurance plan to comply with ACA, and avoid the penalty, was emergency coverage, including ambulance services. I thought that was common knowledge. Nothing is free. The money would have to come from somewhere.
-
We pay taxes and the money is pooled for Healthcare. Unlike selfish Americans, we Canadians actually believe that it's OKAY to share the wealth so that everyone who is a citizen gets the healthcare they need.
-
We could probably manage that if we weren’t spending $130 BILLION a year on illegal aliens and making sure they have health care first.
-
Or 600 billion dollars a year on the military. That's getting awfully close to a fucking TRILLION dollars. Enough to feed, clothe and educate the whole country.

I can’t see how she would be responsible for these medical bills.

MBTA doesn't pay for shit. All they do is increase fares and their state budget yearly. Blue line only got updated cause it goes thru the airport. Best train line by far. Orange line still smells like shit and hasn't had seats changed ever.
