I would like to see reporters start continue this as well as asking tough questions and call out the lies, disinformation, and flawed talking points.

Yes. It's what they are supposed to be doing, and have done with other administrations. It's a reversion to "normal" rather than a ramp up to a higher level of conflict, although I'm sure the admin would like to play it as political attacks from the media.

Asking tough questions and following up after getting diversionary or dishonest replies is not a "fight" with reporters. They're doing their jobs. Finally. The fact that it looks like a "fight" to TBG is because you've forgotten what covering the WH is supposed to look like.

Also, please be careful in describing two women having an exchange in a professional setting. It's not a "fight." Both women are trying to do their jobs. There's always been some conflict and confrontation in seeking information from Press Secretaries.
