Pro-tip: live in the country. I drive about 40 minutes to work everyday, so I can afford to have a roof over my head in my small town. If I lived near my job, I wouldn't have a home, I'd have a studio apartment at best.

We need to think globally about this. When WWII was underway there was a serious effort to get housing for all sorts of people, officers, troops, etc. some of us lived in World War II housing as children, long after the war. The US can achieve this, we need to be resolute
