I want to thank all of our brilliant public servants, not only in the NHS, but also in the Police, Armed Forces, local government, social care and elsewhere - you have shown extraordinary courage in facing this national emergency. Our country owes you a huge debt of gratitude.pic.twitter.com/ExjgZ2HhYM

If the government had reacted to the ventilator shortage in February, a private sector effort starting now, might have made lifesaving equipment available widely in mid-to late April Now it is unlikely to be before June Your inaction on coronavirus will cost lives @BorisJohnson

🥱. Boris and his Government are doing a terrific job in the circumstances and with the information available. Each and every country will have the hindsight conversation in due course but for now bore off!!

How about thanking all the lorry drivers. Who have worked overtime to get us food! Also supermarket staff, putting themselves at risk everyday, in contact with hundreds of people. Of course the NHS are doing an amazing job. We must all come together.

Especially well done to the public servant(s) who gave a contract for 10,000 untested ventilators to a Tory donor who's never built them before. Extraordinary courage.

You owe them the Personal Protective Equipment they need NOW. ENOUGH with the false promises. Words come cheap. But YOUR words come cheapest of all.
