Sounds like you finally understand that a joke between people who are in on it, and a joke where the subject isn’t in on it are two very different things.

But he wasn’t playing a joke on his audience. He was targeting someone outside his audience, and since he was aiming for race and sexuality rather than personal digs, a whole bunch of other people besides.

What moral equation could you possibly be using to think you amusing yourself for half a second is worth adding to the weight of abuse on a whole other group?
