It's not just offensive it's often, & now more so than ever, a call to action. It's, at best, a reinforcement of the chosen subject of mockery as a "them" to the us. It's at worst a bit that will be referenced or in the browser history of the next spree shooter People are dying.

If anything it’s a call to non-violent protest. Humiliation as a weapon, rather than assault. When someone enters a conservative meeting space (say a golf clubhouse) with a super soaker full of nesquik we can start getting concerned.
