She was diagnosed with MBC at an absurdly young age of 35 (tho one would argue that any age is absurd and it's a stupid disease). Since then, she shared her journey on http://maggiesbrightside.com , and scores and scores of people supported her every inch of the way 5/

...not to mention that she found ways to keep giving as she was dying: she created The Maggie Card, which could be used by cancer patients in Vermont to receive discounts on goods and services that they might need—like hats, massages, etc 8/
