You could technically buy a homestead still up there. They still sell areas for super cheap.

Buying a few boats for really cheap. Nailing them together and building a shack on top of them is actually pretty common up there too.

I am not the homesteader type. I like civilization too much, but people should take advantage of Alaska's cheap realeastate.
