I dont see the point of adding complexity to our lives if I have to pay 20% + of my income to the government. It's such a shitty feeling zoomies.

Plus in addition to sales tax you know corporate tax and property tax is baked into every purchase you make at the store. Ever make improvements to your property? Guess what bitch more property tax as punishment for making your neighborhood nicer.

The gov. is lucky that most people don't make enough to feel how oppressive taxes. All these taxes are within the last 100 years too so it's not like it's always been like this. Taxing income..who thought this was a good idea. Literally working for the government 1/3 the year.

Benjamin Franklin relates in his autobiography how he got people to subscribe voluntarily to get Philadelphia's first library and public roads constructed. I'm not sure i understand what we're paying for here.
