Early 4chan was awesome but that's just because it mirrored many other message boards at the time. Then the age of industrial memes started and it went to shit.

I remember a time /b/ was full of funny posts and good stories, real or not. You could go on Omegle and talk to people. Now it's all just about porn and cyber. All the forums I used to post on are inactive and all those people are gone.

It was an old school web page site. You could get it for free and it was organized into faux communities. At the time, it was fascinating. I loved the Web during the Dotcom Bubble.
