I would also begin encouraging early voting and utilizing absentee ballots moving forward. I think all communities need to become more proactive in fighting voter suppression until we obtain the position to change the rules and better protect oppressed communities.

I applied online over a week ago for my absentee ballot & it said my ballot was on it's way. I still haven't gotten it. So, I will be walking to vote. I don't know if it's because my local mail system sucks or what, but Ii can't trust it or let it stop me from voting!
