    Remembering Leader -who died 25 years ago this month. I will never forget that day. He was the final decider for me in becoming a citizen and to vote . He was a union man; British & European. He saw no contradiction in this. .

    Stuff thrown at people-real bad idea. Hurl stuff and land-could be assault. If I'm preventing someone from attacking another, ok. But not great to touch another person who hasn't attacked me...no matter what I feel about them. Defeat them at the ballot box.

    I had a rather brilliant English teacher who though he was Laurence Olivier. We listened to Marvin Gaye on our transistors with desk tops up while he "struts and frets his hour upon the stage, " i came to appreciate Mr. Robinson when I was older.
