I agree with the first part. But at least in this junction in my life, I have more examples of men achieving a milestone then deciding to get married versus meeting that compels them to get ready.

because those milestones matter to them more than who they actually end up with. As long as she is able to check off some boxes and they think she will be a suitable mother/wife its all systems a go. This rings true ESPECIALLY for men 33+
