I think it’s a good time to define what sexual harassment and assault really are. Its more than you saying “I felt uncomfortable.” Uncomfortableness is subjective and when it comes to assault/harassment, it’s not very gray.

Say someone randomly says “I want to fuck you.” Is it inappropriate? Hell yes. Creepy? Def. Makes you uncomfortable? Absolutely. That’s not necessarily assault or harassment.

Now... if they KEEP alluding to it constantly & start to act on that statement WITHOUT your consent, so that’s you saying “I am okay with your behavior and I don’t want you to stop.”, that’s assault. That’s harassment. That’s illegal.

Same thing with women in the club. You offer to buy a girl a drink or ask for her number. She says no thank you. You keep pursuing. That’s harassment.

Say you’re talking to a guy and y’all have had explicit messages in the past. Today he comes on that same type time. You tell him you no longer wanna entertain that type of conversation. He keeps going. That’s assault. He sends a nude. That’s assault. Non consensual.

Any man that randomly sends you a pic of his penis without establishing consent prior in the relationship is committing assault.
