So. As the myth behind Gemini goes, the twins (same mother, different fathers) were Castor(Tyndarus) & Pollux(Zeus).

Pollux was immortal and Castor was not. The twins literally did everything together. Fought in wars, went on adventures, just inseparable.

Eventually Castor dies, because mortal, duh. And Pollux is HURT, okay?! He begged his dad to just kill him cuz fuck life if without my bro.

So instead of making Pollux mortal so he could die (Zeus ain’t killing his own kid okay!) he put Pollux & Castor in the heavens together.

So when we talk about the duality of Gemini, there needs to be mor talk of the godlike vs human side rather than the good vs evil.

Because as humans, we all grapple with the decisions that can be perceived as “good” vs “evil”. Gemini has more going on there.

Gemini can be very polarizing. The overall goal is to reconcile. Like Pollux & Castor did.

They shared mortality. They’d spend one day in Olympus & the next in Hades. Together.
