For me, being on both sides? It's hard. It's definitely not a walk in the park and the love can turn to resentment real quick.

Many of us are suffering in silence and choose to date despite. Depression manifests in so many ways. It definitely erodes relationships.

Many ppl who don't suffer think depression is constant sadness. It can be. But it can also be feeling numb to everything & drained.

As the fall sets in, remember seasonal depression starts to set back in as well. Check on your friends who you notice go ghost during fall.

I dated because of my depression and ended up feeling worse for thinking they'd take my mind off of it, they were actually vv distant.

It was like a never ending spiral of emotions, and I relied too heavily on them, then I'd get upset when I felt let down.
