Well idk where to start because the industry I’m in is not what industry I’d need a mentor I’m.

Then you want to join likeminded groups. I found mine through work (she was a consultant) and through volunteering. Why do you feel you need a mentor?

Because I don’t have a strong female voice in my life to help guide me with the things I’ve never seen people in my family do as far as career and just life in general go.

I used the academic/professional side of Twitter. I also scoured LinkedIn. Depending on your profession, you can check if there are any conferences, the black women at mine were all so willing to help me!
