Sometimes I hate being an empath. People don’t understand what it’s like to feel the emotions of others and what it does to you when they don’t wanna either let things roll off them or resolve them.

And with strangers, I can absolutely just shield myself from them and their shit. But the people I either choose to be around or have to be around for extended periods of time? Forget it.

They’re mad, I’m mad. They’re upset, I’m upset. And it becomes an issue for me because I can’t just ignore the feeling. Their feelings. And people love to bottle everything up. I can’t. I have to resolve it or it haunts me. I don’t have the choice to repress.

I can literally feel when something is going on with people. And if I ask you what’s going on, you say “nothing” but then I continue to feel the emotions I’m feeling from you are lingering like “something”, that becomes a problem. For me.

Your moods/emotions are not always your own. Don’t be selfish when it comes to that because energy is neither created nor destroyed. Only transferred. And you don’t know who has antennas picking up on your signal.

ESPECIALLY especially if you have people around you who are empaths/psychic/connected to the collective consciousness.
