That’s fine and true but the fact is a healthy line of communication between parent and child would make it a lot easier to broach the conversation because it’s probably an ongoing conversation anyway

That’s if that’s the type of relationship you have with your child. Not all children are gonna still feel comfortable. Especially if you present them with the information but still expect them not to have sex rather than understanding its their personal choice.

But to expect all parents to know off the basis of open communication isn’t something that’s inherent and that’s the point I’m making. Parents aren’t always to blame for not knowing things about their children.
