I wanna go see #Midsommar again. I really cannot believe y’all are calling it mid. Who would like to have an intellectual discussion about the film?pic.twitter.com/bmlDhoeJWs

I don’t think it was mid... I just... feel numb???
I really enjoyed(??) almost everything about it... I’m still very disturbed... maybe the only part I didn’t like what the way the film told the storyline before it finished.
The opening shot shows you everything that happens. Ari Aster is a very much in your face with what’s going on but using other mediums so like the paintings told the story but I look at it as more of a warning because he goes into the most grotesque imagery. That opening >
It was a beautiful movie but I didn’t like it. It served its purpose it kept me watching. Looking for twists and engaged but I would be perfectly fine never watching the movie again.
I think it did it’s job then

Yeah. I can’t say it’s a bad movie I wouldn’t tell anyone don’t go see it. But I wasn’t thrilled.
I loved how it was a breakup movie disguised as an anthropological nightmare. He said he got a lot of subconscious influence from Dogville. I loved that film and it just showed exactly why everybody deserved what they deserved. Opening was so lit. Imma go see it again
