An adult male studying biology told me he doesn’t agree with birth control cuz it can build up in the body and cause infertility so just in case y’all were wondering if colleges were adequately addressing women’s healthcare concerns in their curriculum, here’s your sign.

I agree that hormonal BC has effects on the body after using it for some ppl and that could lead to infertility but i don’t think it’s like the most common outcome or a reason to ban it altogether. Thats kinda the direction this convo was going lol

It definitely should not be banned because hormone therapy is beautiful when done correctly but the education around birth control today is very lazy. Doctors don’t even tell you how it works in the body and the risk factors.

Yes it’s sooooo lazy and that was the crux of the convo. I’m like if more time and money was invested in researching these things, making them available to both genders, etc, that would solve way more problems.
