Air filtration will include a carbon filter, inline fan and duct tube which is routed outside the tent. Technically the system also includes the fan, which encourages air movement.

The specifics on your air filtration system will depend on the size of your grow tent. Do your research & due diligence.

Next, your grow light. There are different types, but I’m partial to LED. The strength of your grow light directly correlates to the square area of your grow tent. For example, you need a good 400w of power for a 2 x 2 grow tent. Do your research on size & light requirements.

Your trellising is going to ensure that, as your plant grows, its branches do not get bunched up. You want spread branches, which help every part of the plant to receive lots of light. Light = bud development.

Your thermometer and hydrometer are going to measure temperature and humidity. Cannabis plants have different temperature and humidity levels for different stages of life. As babies, they need high humidity. As they grow it must come down.

That’s it for now. Feel free to ask questions. (I will circle back to genetics & germination tonight.)
