So happy more men are freeing themselves of the burden of “Man Up”. That’s men acknowledging the feminine side of the psyche and not the masculine part that just wants to get over it.

When there’s an imbalance of energies we either: a. Fix the problem without mentally processing it and end up creating a stock of stressful energies Or B. Spend so much time going over the emotions to the point we forget that we have physical control over our situations

We all know people who are just keeping it moving, never really processing everything that’s going on with them mentally/emotionally, suppressing it. Masculine heavy.

Then we know people who are always complaining about their situation and not changing it. And tbh this one is seen as more annoying because of how we as humans view the physical body vs the psyche/emotional body. It shouldn’t be looked at as worse.

So how do you balance the two? By giving everyone the light. Giving yourself time to THINK/FEEL about the problem and then ACTING on solutions.

It’s easier said than done when depending on the problem, our reflexes go to the “easiest” solution. It’s human nature to keep doing what you’ve been doing. So you have to break yourself out of it.

Write down your problems and how they make you feel. You’ll be surprised how much comes out. Talk to people you trust and let them know you just need a sounding board. Listen to music that reflects your mood and helps you tap into your feelings. Go to therapy.

But being able to honor both parts of yourself ensures you are taking a comprehensive approach to problem solving in your life. It is a process, and you can’t skip the parts that aren’t fun.

This is also how you build your emotional intelligence, empathy and understand what boundaries are when it comes to “how long” you are supposed to “feel how you feel” about a situation. The more you practice, the easier it gets, and then you won’t even have to think about it.
